Julia Roberts is set to make everyone fall her again as she plays the lead character in the upcoming film, Eat Pray Love. The movie is based on the bestselling memoir written by Elizabeth Gilbert. It tells the story of the author as she travels abroad and discovers a whole new side of herself.
The love interests of her character would be played by three special actors in the names of Javier Bardem, Billy Crudup and James Franco. I have read the book and learned a lot from it as well. I just hope the film would do justice to it too.
Julia Roberts’ Relationships and Break-Ups
Julia was reportedly involved with many popular men including Liam Neeson, Kiefer Sutherland, Benjamin Bratt, Matthew Perry and Dylan McDermott. In 1990, she got engaged with her Flatliners co-star Sutherland for a wedding that was scheduled June 14, 1991. She broke the engagement exactly 3 days before the set wedding date.
She then headed to Ireland where she met Jason Patric, Sutherland’s good friend.
It was in June 27, 1993, when she married Lyle Lovett, a country singer. After 2 years, they separated ways and eventually divorced. It was in 1998 when Julia started dating Benjamin Bratt who was also her escort during the night which she won the Oscars. After 3 months, they announced to the public that they have broken up.
Julia and her current husband, Daniel Moder met on the set of her previous movie The Mexican. He was a cameraman and they tied the knot last July 4, 2002. After 2 years, they became parents to fraternal twins, Hazel and Finn. This was followed by a third son Henry on June of 2007.
